Hi there, and thanks for dropping by to see my pictures.

I'm Phil Jones, I live on the Wirral in Merseyside, and I'm now retired, after working for myself for over 45 years, running a software business. My interest in photography started at secondary school, where we had a darkroom with enlarger. I started using a Zenith camera, and have 'dabbled' with Photography ever since. Now using Canon R series and Ricoh GR kit.
During the lockdown of 2020 I spent my time photographing Eastham Village where I live, and created both a book and a calendar which sold well and raised over £500 for charity. (See the Eastham in Pictures pages).
During this time I also joined the Bebington Photographic Society.  This has given me fresh impetus to concentrate more on the images I'm taking, and helped to formulate what I really enjoy doing.
I've tried all genres of photography, but the one that I really enjoy is 'Street' and Documentary, with Action/Sport a close 2nd. I am actively running a number of projects, which could result in 'zines or mini books.
Have a browse at my images and other pages using the menu, and it would be good to hear any feedback.
